Peshawar: The initial findings from the local government elections held in Peshawar have unveiled a mixed and undecided array of results, with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) securing triumph in three constituencies.
Leading News has managed to acquire the informal election outcomes encompassing all six village and neighborhood councils within Peshawar.
Out of the six available positions in Peshawar, PTI has achieved victory in three, as per unofficial declarations. Particularly notable successes for PTI include Ghari Banat Wana, Ghari Fazal Khaliq, and Nodhia Bala, where their nominees have emerged as winners.
Conversely, the Village Council Regi Yusufzai seat has been secured by a contender from the Jamaat-e-Ulema Islam-Fazal.
Furthermore, in line with informal reports, the Maroof Zai seat has been captured by the aspirant affiliated with the Awami National Party.
The Ghari Banat IV seat has been conquered by an independent participant, while another accomplishment story has unfolded with the Awami National Party nominee securing the victory for the Ghari Banat V seat.
Moving to the Shangla district, the Awami National Party has achieved a convincing success, leading by a substantial margin of 250 votes.
In the UC Bigah Tajah Zai general seat of Laki Marwat, Taj Ali Khan has achieved triumph, garnering a total of 340 votes, as per the formal election figures.
Khan Zaman secured the second position with 257 votes, closely followed by Muhammad Rizwan with 236 votes.
In the youth seat of UC Shahab Khel, Muhammad Tahir emerged victorious with 963 votes, trailed by Rizwan Allah with 796 votes.
A fierce competition was observed for the Tattarkhel youth seat, culminating in Mustafa securing the lead with 643 votes, closely pursued by Shaker Allah with 640 votes.
The informal election outcomes have disclosed the triumphant participants across various positions, thereby highlighting the diverse inclinations of the electorate. These outcomes symbolize the manifestation of democratic authorization exercised by the populace of the district.
