Former Foreign Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the Health Insaf card was also politicized and it was blocked. A long march can be announced at any time.
PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in a press conference that Health Insaf Card was a revolutionary initiative but it was also politicized and stopped.
He said that the patient is not political, but the responsible people showed irresponsibility and it is hoped that the federal government will not be narrow minded on the health card.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the patients had immense pressure on the government hospitals and the new hospitals will be constructed, then the pressure will be reduced. Health card is providing treatment facility up to 10 lakh rupees. New hospitals are being built in small towns.
He said that the government is shaking and Home Minister Rana Sanaullah has written a letter to the Election Commission to postpone the elections. The federal government should encourage and not panic.
