Islamabad: Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has said that despite being the head of a political party and former prime minister, if I cannot file an FIR of my own free will, how can a common man get justice?
While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he said, “I believe that three people have conspired to kill me. It is my right to file an FIR against these three people. I am the leader of a popular party and a former prime minister.” Yes, if I can’t file an FIR of my own free will, then how will the common man and the entire nation get justice?
He said that I am right that it is difficult to get justice here, a society can never develop where there is no justice and no rule of law. If I want a clean and transparent investigation, that is my right, a former prime minister. He is saying that three people are involved in the murderous attack on me, but our own police is not registering our FIR on anyone’s request.
He said that immediately after the attack on me, propaganda was started and tweets were made that the attack was the result of religious extremism, it was their plan to kill me on the charge of blasphemy.
He said that I am surprised by DG ISPR’s statement that if one person is nominated, it means that the entire army is involved?
He said that we and Arshad Sharif’s mother know who threatened Arshad Sharif’s life. A judicial commission of the Supreme Court should be formed to investigate it.
He said that the DG ISPR says that the cipher is a drama, if it is a drama, then why was it not investigated judicially? What are you afraid of? When the National Security Council is saying that there was an intrusion, why is the ISPR saying that there was no intrusion? Chief Justice! The cipher has come, how will the intrusion be known unless you investigate?
On the issue of Azam Swati, he said that the Chief Justice should also investigate the matter that the same elements are involved in this matter who have been picking up journalists before, Azam Swati’s video is not fake, we should send it outside the Supreme Court. will protest in which all our senators will be with Swati and demand that Azam Swati be given justice.
Announcement to resume march from Wazirabad on Tuesday
He said that on Tuesday they will start marching from the place where Moazzam was martyred, people of all Pakistan will gather at this place and march towards Islamabad and will reach there within 10 to 14 days.
