Mahzooz celebrates first Ramadan gold winner

DUBAI: Mahzooz, the UAE’s leading weekly draw with the highest and most frequent pay-out, celebrated the first Golden Ramadan Raffle lucky winner who was awarded 10 gold coins.

The inaugural Golden Ramadan Raffle was held during the 121st Mahzooz weekly draw and will continue to run throughout the holy month, awarding various gold prizes every week.

Mary Grace, holder of the raffle ID 32359322, is the winner who struck it lucky this week, becoming the first Ramadan gold winner with Mahzooz in 2023.

Originally from the Philippines, Mary Grace works as an HR professional and has lived in the UAE with her family for ten years. Having been introduced to Mahzooz by her parents two years ago, she has been participating every week.

The 32-year-old winner could not comprehend how lucky she was by the time she was contacted by Mahzooz on Sunday, a day after the draw, to inform her of her win.

Mary Grace is considered by her family to be their lucky charm, as she is the one who regularly participates in Mahzooz.

“My parents are retired and content with the simple pleasures of life, such as gardening and looking after my sister’s children. It’s my parents who continuously remind me to purchase my lines every weekend hoping that I will eventually win — and I did,” she said fondly.

This new prize is a wonderful gift for Mary to give to her parents, and she intends to use it wisely. She does not want to monetise it right away because she believes the value of gold will appreciate even more.

The 121^st draw also resulted in Mohammed, a lucky winner from Bangladesh, with the raffle ID number 32284456, becoming the third guaranteed raffle draw millionaire. As part of Mahzooz’s new prize structure, where one lucky participant becomes a guaranteed millionaire every week, Mohammed took home AED 1,000,000.

In addition to the already generous weekly prizes on offer, participants can expect to win different gold prizes throughout the holy month of Ramadan. A lucky participant will have a chance to win 200gm of gold on Saturday.

For only AED 35, participants can purchase a bottle of Mahzooz water, and enter the weekly draw consisting of the Grand Draw, for a chance to win the new top prize of AED 20,000,000 and the new weekly Raffle Draw, which will grant AED 1,000,000 every week to a guaranteed millionaire-to-be.
