Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has made it mandatory for government officials to answer the phone of elected local representatives.
The Chief Secretary has issued a letter according to which government officials will be bound to respond to elected representatives on WhatsApp or phone.
The Constitution of Pakistan has given special privilege to all the elected representatives and the local government representatives are also included in them, all the civil servants and those running the public affairs should provide all possible support to these elected public representatives.
If the member of the assembly or the elected representative of the people contact on mobile phone or WhatsApp, it should be answered.
