Islamabad: Rifat Ara Alvi, the mother of journalist Arshad Sharif who was martyred in Kenya, has written a letter to Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial requesting him to form a high-level judicial commission.
According to Sources, the mother of Shaheed Arshad Sharif has requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan to save the case from controversy and political hypocrisy and provide justice to the family.
Arshad Sharif’s mother wrote in her letter that the Kenyan police has changed its position three to four times while federal ministers have also fabricated stories before the departure of the investigation team which is part of the record.
He wrote that when Arshad Sharif reached Dubai, he was relieved that he was now out of danger, but the government put pressure on the Emirati (UAE) government, on which Arshad Sharif was forced to leave Dubai.
The mother of the martyred journalist wrote in the letter that after two months in Kenya, my son was brutally martyred, my son informed you about the dangers through a letter on May 12, in which he informed you about the baseless cases of treason. . Arshad Sharif had to take refuge outside the country due to the danger to his life, the attitude of the government should be taken note of the brutal killing of Arshad Sharif, his widow and orphans in the family want nothing but justice.
In the letter, Arshad Sharif’s mother further said that I am asking for justice by placing my case in the court of Allah, I hope that my letter will not be sent to the cold house like the letter of the martyred son, I hope that the families of the martyrs and the journalist community The outrage will be less than the delivery of justice.
