Dubai: With the countdown to Christmas in full swing, MOTIONGATE™ Dubai kicked off its festive season, welcoming large crowds as they were transported into the ultimate magical destination for thrills, family-fun entertainment and all things festive.
Guests enjoyed a dance performed with a variety of holiday characters followed by a countdown to the lighting of the park’s 40ft Christmas tree that was adorned with glistening lights and festive decorations.
The region’s largest Hollywood-inspired theme park which features the greatest number of roller coasters in a single theme park in the Middle East, has 29 thrilling rides, attractions and exciting entertainment experiences to choose from.
If that’s not enough, guests can also enjoy Santa’s Sweet Surprise, a 25-minute live festive show in the Hollywood Theatre that follows the story of Mrs. Claus and the North Pole Bakers as they prepare a special holiday surprise for Santa.
The “Smurfmas” festive street dance at the Smurfs Village is sure to be a family favourite and will be followed by a special meet and greet experience with the beloved Smurfs themselves.
Guests are in for a real festive treat as they enjoy the Dance of the Wooden Toy Soldiers, a live street show, along with their favourite seasonal hits, festive decorations, dazzling lights and even a snow shower as they walk through Studio Central.
