DUBAI: PMLN Senior Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has appreciated the role being played by the Muslim League United Arab Emirates leadership in the UAE.
She expressed these views in a meeting with a Muslim League UAE delegation that called on her in Dubai.
Maryam Nawaz made a stopover in the United Arab Emirates on her way back home to Pakistan from London.
The PMLN leader also lauded the members of the Pakistani community living in the UAE for their positive contribution to their homeland.
The Muslim League UAE delegation was headed by senior leader Ghulam Mustafa Mughal while it also included Shaukat Butt, Raja Abubakar Effendi, Ghous Qadri, Abdul Waheed Paul, Farzana Kausar and other leaders.
Maryam Nawaz assured the members of the delegation that the future of Pakistan belongs to PMLN. She said the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has always brought Pakistan out of tough times. She expressed the hope that the leadership will take the country out of the current economic crisis as well.
Abu Bakr Effendi, the General Secretary of Muslim League UAE, acknowledged Maryam Nawaz’s leadership and conveyed the community’s best wishes to her.
He said the officials of Muslim League UAE wanted to see former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif once again taking over the leadership of the country.
Senior leader Ghous Qadri presented a bouquet to Maryam Nawaz and informed her that a number of party workers are ready to fly to Lahore with her.
