Lahore– Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Friday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif is set to reveal his next course of action at a highly anticipated rally to be held at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.
Speaking to reporters in London following a party meeting, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the historic significance of this event, marking Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan after an extended period abroad. He noted the eagerness of Nawaz Sharif’s supporters, who have been eagerly awaiting his return to active politics.
Reflecting on the 2018 elections, Shehbaz Sharif asserted that Nawaz Sharif’s mandate had been unfairly taken away, resulting in his exclusion from active politics. He attributed Nawaz Sharif’s return to the collective prayers and unwavering support of the people.
During the party meeting, Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged the substantial challenges faced during the past four years and recognized that their resolution would require time and effort. He also highlighted the achievements of Nawaz Sharif’s previous tenure, particularly improvements in electricity supply and the creation of employment opportunities for young individuals.
“We stand ready to reignite Pakistan’s path to progress. We will pick up where we left off and chart a new course forward,” proclaimed Shehbaz Sharif.
Furthermore, the former premier reaffirmed Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to responsible leadership, stating, “Nawaz Sharif has never issued erroneous statements to the nation.”
Nawaz Sharif’s upcoming address at Minar-e-Pakistan is expected to shed light on his future plans and aspirations, generating anticipation and curiosity among both his ardent supporters and political observers across the nation.
