According to party sources, speculations of Nawaz Sharif’s return home before the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly and possible provincial elections have died down.
The senior leadership of the party had requested Nawaz Sharif’s immediate return home in the current political situation, but Nawaz Sharif flatly refused to return home immediately.
Nawaz Sharif replied to the party leaders that at present it is not possible for me to return to Pakistan in the current political situation, in the next few days a decision will be taken on the immediate return of Maryam Nawaz. After that I will decide to return home.
Nawaz Sharif directed the party leaders to prepare for the elections immediately and said that the party leaders should enter the election arena with full preparation and also keep me updated with all the situation.
