Islamabad: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has announced a substantial increase in electricity prices, sending shockwaves among consumers. The regulatory body has authorized a Rs 7.5 per unit hike in electricity rates, citing fuel price adjustments as the primary reason.
