DUBAI: There’s good news for students with good start-up ideas as NFL Investments LLC Group Chairman Asif Ali Chaudhry has announced to invest a huge amount in the best project.
“NFL Investments LLC will invest between $100,000 and $1,000,000 in the strongest project of any young student under a plan titled ‘Start-up Funding’ to give them a chance to put a foot in the doorway to the UAE economy,” Asif Ali Chaudhry said while speaking at an event he organised for students.
“We are ready to invest in their plans and some of their ideas are very good and wonderful,” Asif Ali Chaudhry said of the students’ proposals.
The event was organised with the aim to encourage and inspire students in the United Arab Emirates to apply their capabilities in a diversity of endeavours.
As many as 40 students from the 25 finest UAE universities were invited to the NFL Investments LLC headquarters located at Al Sarkal Building 1, Deira Dubai to attend the introduction conference.
The conference emphasised the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and discussed the significance of youth in national development.
The main purpose of the gathering was to empower young people to become entrepreneurs and enhance entrepreneurship in the UAE.
Honourable chief guest Yaqoob Al Ali spoke highly of the programme, acknowledging it as an integral contribution to the prosperity and success of the UAE. He wished the students who are looking to start a business in the United Arab Emirates all the very best.
Project Director Sameer Shahid, Media and Marketing Co-ordinator Raja Ubaid Ur Rahman, and Director of Fareeq Hustlers Anwar Sadaat all lauded the event’s success.
