Islamabad: Former leader of PML-N and Ex-Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has announced to contest the election of the National Assembly and Provincial Assembly as independent.
Speaking to a news channel, Chaudhry Nisar said that he is still in contact with PML-N but will decide to join the party after the elections.
He said that there is definitely friendship with Imran, but if he joins Tehreek-e-Insaaf, the relationship of friendship may be affected.
It should be remembered that Chaudhry Nisar, who was angry with the leadership of the Muslim League (N), had contested as an independent in 2018 for 2 seats in the National Assembly and one seat in the Provincial Assembly, in which he was successful only in the seat of the Punjab Assembly.
