Islamabad: Former President and Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari mobilized to save Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab Assembly for which he has decided to contact PTI members.
In an interview given to private TV, Asif Zardari said that elections are a democratic initiative that is a subject for both us and PTI, if Imran Khan dissolves the assemblies, we will fight and if not, we will continue to oppose.
The former president said that to save the assembly, he will bring a no-confidence motion in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, we have full number of members of the assembly in Punjab and KPK, and only some misguided friends have to be brought back.
He challenged that if the assemblies are dissolved, let’s see how many members Imran Khan brings back to the provincial assembly, premature interest is not in the interest of democracy.
