Following an annual tradition, Pakistan Association Dubai is gearing up to celebrate Pakistan Day with soaring community spirit and fervour. We are proud to host the Pakistan Festival this year on March 18th-19th (4pm-11pm) to mark our 23rd March celebrations. The two-day carnival will celebrate the best of Pakistan’s culture and cuisine. Through this event, we want to bring our community together to share the love of our culture and our world-renowned street food, as a testament to the ever-famous Pakistani hospitality. The festive weekend will entail cultural stalls, a performance by the Dubai Police band, bikers rally by Pakistani Riders Group, art and cooking competitions, comedy shows and more to represent the rich image of Pakistan.
Special guests from Pakistan are flying down to join our festivities. Pakistani comedian duo, Barkat and Uzmi are returning to entertain the audience with a fun comedy night. Poet Iftikhar Iffi will mesmerise the audience with Journey of Resolution to narrate the story of Pakistan’s inception. While Poet Tajammul Sagar Butt will dedicate some of his best words to our beloved homeland. A variety of cultural and food stalls will also grace the event to give our guests a peak of Pakistan’s rich tradition and heritage. A live food street is also in store for the community to savour authentic Pakistani delicacies. An art competition has also been organised by the PAD Culture Committee to give people a platform to creatively express their patriotic spirit.
Surrounded by the echoing of national songs, flags and hues of green, our festivities will spread joy, union, compassion and community spirit. On the other hand, Pakistan Medical Centre (PMC) is also joining the celebrations with a Special Health Offer for the community. The package can be availed via online pre-bookings between March 18th-19th.
