PAD organises Future Fest 2023 to promote education, career advancement

DUBAI: In a successful effort to promote education and career advancement, Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) presented Future Fest 2023.

The two-day event, held on November 10 and 11 at PAD, aimed to inspire and empower the academic and professional pursuits of young students.

Future Fest 2023 stood out as a unique initiative, revolutionising our approach to higher education and career development. With a diverse range of activities and opportunities, the event catered to a broad audience, including students, parents, educators, and corporate entities. Special guests in attendance were Ms Mariam Bugti, Consul, Consular Affairs, and Mr Fawad Ali Khan, Consul who inaugurated the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Mr Zahid Hassan, PAD General Secretary, expressed his thoughts on the success of Future Fest 2023. He stated, “Future Fest 2023 has been a resounding success, providing a unique platform where individuals from diverse backgrounds connected with potential university choices and gained valuable insights to take the next step in their careers. PAD is proud to have facilitated this novel initiative, benefiting numerous students on their educational and professional journeys.”

Future Fest 2023 featured a speech contest for schoolchildren, offering an inspiring showcase of young talent. Career coaching and counselling workshops provided valuable insights into CV writing, interview preparation, and personal growth. Expert Talks engaged attendees in conversations about the future of education and AI, workplace communication, and more.

Mr Muhammad Dawood Khan, PAD Head of Education Committee, talked about his anticipation for a wave of educational partnerships that will significantly benefit Pakistani students. He remarked, “Future Fest 2023 has laid the foundation for promising collaborations, and we look forward to sustaining relationships with educational institutions. These partnerships will provide Pakistani students with enhanced opportunities for academic growth and career development.”

Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to interact with 18+ renowned educational institutions from around the globe, including Bath Spa University, Middlesex University Dubai, Skyline University College, British Council, IBTE, London American City College, GM International College, Bits Pilani Dubai Campus, Regent Middle East, Education Malaysia, University of West London RAK Branch Campus, Loughborough University, University of Bolton – Academic Centre Ras Al Khaimah, EEI Dubai, MEDU, Superior University, Success Point College, University of Dubai, and JnS Institution.

Beyond enriching sessions, attendees enjoyed diverse stalls and engaging activities. Future Fest 2023 proved to be a gathering of educators, students, parents, and corporate entities, all dedicated to shaping a better future.
