DUBAI: Hassan Afzal Khan, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, visited SZABIST Dubai Campus and inaugurated multiple events/initiatives of the university.
SZABIST Dubai Campus began the Independence Day celebrations leading up to August 14; free preparatory classes for 12th grade students in the area of English language, information technology and leadership under the banner ‘Service to the Community’ were set rolling; and SZABIST Dubai Campus’ newsletter was launched.
On the occasion, the Consulate General of Pakistan in the UAE and SZABIST University Dubai Campus expressed the determination to work together for the development of both Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
Professor Dr Hummayoun Naeem, Head of SZABIST Dubai Campus, welcomed the consul general and also presented the university’s progress report.
He proudly informed that three graduates of the Dubai Campus were recently awarded Golden Visa based on their outstanding academic performance. Besides, students from the Strategic Marketing Course developed a digital marketing plan for the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Dr Hummayoun said, adding that the senior management of PIA was also invited to the campus where students presented their detailed marketing plan. The marketing plan was appreciated by the PIA management.
Dr Hummayoun thanked Ms Saba, Education Liaison Officer, for her great support to the SZABIST Dubai Campus.
He also expressed his gratitude to Ms Hina Sahar and Mr Naveed Hassan for their active participation in the entire event.
Among other guests, eminent members of the business community of the UAE, including Mr Asif Choudhary, Chairman, Noble Future Land Investment LLC, and media representatives were also present on the occasion.
