In the aftermath of a deadly blast in Khuzdar that claimed six lives, including four children, Pakistan Army leadership has reaffirmed its unrelenting resolve to eradicate terrorism and safeguard national sovereignty. The pledge came during the 270th Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC), chaired by Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters, Rawalpindi.
According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the top brass condemned the “heinous terrorist attack” in Balochistan, attributing it to India-sponsored proxies. The forum began with Fateha for the martyrs of Khuzdar and those who lost their lives during “Marka-e-Haq” — the recent military conflict with India.
“These hostile elements, trained and financed to incite chaos and fear, will be dismantled and decimated with full force of national will and institutional strength,” the statement emphasized.

The military reviewed the regional security environment, including the aftermath of India’s unprovoked cross-border aggression following the Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), where 26 tourists were killed. India’s retaliation — conducted without evidence — resulted in civilian casualties in Pakistan. In response, Pakistan launched “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos,” downing six Indian jets and over 80 drones, and striking several military installations.
The 19-day confrontation ended with a U.S.-brokered ceasefire on May 10. The military leadership paid tribute to all martyrs of the conflict and reaffirmed the armed forces’ commitment to protecting the nation’s sovereignty.
The forum reiterated: “No one can coerce Pakistan through the use or threat of force. The nation will take all measures necessary to safeguard its vital interests.”
The army chief praised the professionalism and operational readiness of the armed forces, the resilience of the people, the role of Pakistani youth, and the media’s efforts in countering misinformation and Indian propaganda.
A strategic review of the Line of Control (LoC), Eastern Border, and internal security was also conducted. The forum condemned ongoing human rights violations in IIOJK and called for urgent international intervention to uphold peace in South Asia.
Field Marshal Munir stressed the critical role of the Pakistan Army in ensuring internal stability and securing national borders. He commended the nation’s unwavering support, calling it “our greatest strength,” and reaffirmed the military’s commitment to the people of Pakistan in confronting any form of aggression or extremism.
The conference concluded with a collective pledge to maintain high vigilance and operational readiness. The commanders also extended congratulations to Field Marshal Munir on his historic promotion, praising his strategic leadership and contributions to national defense.
