ISLAMABAD: The Media Brief and Opening Ceremony of the 18th Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Amateur Golf Cup 2025 was held at the Margalla Greens Golf Club (MGGC) in Islamabad, marking the formal commencement of one of Pakistan’s premier golf tournaments.
During the briefing, Rear Admiral Saqib Ilyas, Patron of Pakistan Navy Golf (North), shared details about the championship’s format and participation across multiple categories, including Amateurs, Seniors, Ladies, and Juniors. He also announced that the tournament will take place from October 22 to 26, 2025, featuring an invitational match for guests and sponsors.

Since its inception in 2007, the CNS Amateur Golf Cup has grown into a key fixture on the national sports calendar, reflecting Pakistan Navy’s commitment to promoting sportsmanship, healthy competition, and a positive national image.
