ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received the Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments, Khalaf Khalafov, on Friday.
During the meeting, Khalafov briefed Dar on ongoing and upcoming initiatives under Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s full support for Azerbaijan’s leadership role in CICA and its efforts to promote regional cooperation and mutual understanding.
Both sides also discussed opportunities to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries, highlighting their longstanding brotherly ties.
