Pakistan to continue moral, political support to Kashmiris: PM

Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar Engages in Fruitful Talks with AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq.

In a significant diplomatic development, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar engaged in a productive meeting with Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq on Thursday.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq of AJK extended his warm congratulations to Caretaker Prime Minister Kakar on his assumption of office. He expressed his heartfelt best wishes for the success of the caretaker government’s endeavors.

Amidst the exchange of pleasantries, Caretaker Prime Minister Kakar reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Kashmir. He assured Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq of AJK that Pakistan stood firmly beside the Kashmiri populace in their unwavering struggle for the fundamental right to self-determination. Furthermore, Caretaker Prime Minister Kakar reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to upholding the diplomatic, political, and moral support for the Kashmiri people. He highlighted the nation’s commitment to continuing its efforts until the longstanding Kashmir issue finds a resolution that aligns with the principles set forth by the United Nations Security Council.

He emphasized the importance of adhering to the resolutions and also ensuring the aspirations of the Kashmiri people are respected through a democratic plebiscite.
