Pakistan Triumphs Over Ireland in Thrilling T20 Clash

Pakistan secured a commanding seven-wicket victory over Ireland in the second T20I match, at Dublin’s Clontarf Cricket Club on Sunday.

Led by standout performances from Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, and Azam Khan, Pakistan showcased their prowess, leveling the three-match series 1-1.

Despite an early stumble in the chase, losing Saim Ayub and skipper Babar Azam cheaply, Pakistan rallied magnificently. Rizwan and Fakhar’s remarkable 140-run partnership, a record for Pakistan in T20Is, steered the team towards victory. Rizwan’s unbeaten 75 and Fakhar’s explosive 78 powered Pakistan past the target with ease.

Earlier, Ireland posted a formidable total of 193/7, their highest-ever at Clontarf Cricket Club. Despite some initial setbacks, Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker led Ireland’s charge with commendable contributions.

Pakistan’s bowlers, led by Shaheen Afridi and supported by Mohammad Amir and Abbas Afridi, showcased resilience, containing Ireland’s batting onslaught.
