Pakistan, UAE Review Progress Under Government Experience Exchange MoU

Minister Bilal Azhar Kayani meets Abdulla Nasser Lootah in Dubai to advance institutional reform and service delivery goals

DUBAI: Bilal Azhar Kayani, Minister of State for Finance and Railways and Head of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit (PMDU), met with Mr. Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Experience Exchange of the United Arab Emirates, to review progress under the ongoing cooperation framework between the two governments.

During the meeting, Mr. Kayani expressed appreciation to the UAE leadership for its sustained support under the Memorandum of Understanding on Mutual Government Experience Exchange, signed on June 16, 2025. The two officials evaluated the series of knowledge-sharing sessions conducted so far, both in person in the UAE and through virtual platforms, and assessed the achievements made in various sectors.

They also discussed the roadmap for future collaboration, identifying priority areas for joint initiatives aimed at strengthening governance models and enhancing public sector efficiency.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to institutional reform, modernized service delivery, and the adoption of innovative governance practices. They agreed to maintain close coordination to ensure timely implementation of agreed actions under the MoU, signalling a continued partnership focused on mutual learning and administrative excellence.
