Pakistani Prisoners in Masjid Nabawi riots released

Madinah Munawara: On the orders of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad bin Salman, two Pakistanis imprisoned in the Saudi Arabian jail were released.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif requested Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to release the Pakistanis arrested for the April 2022 incident. On which the Saudi Crown Prince ordered the release of all the Pakistanis imprisoned in the riots in the Masjid Nabwi (S.A.W.W).

The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the Saudi Crown Prince and said that may Allah reward him.

Madinah court sentenced three Pakistanis Khawaja Luqman, Muhammad Afzal, Ghulam Muhammad to 8 years while three others, including Anas, Arshad and Muhammad Salim, were sentenced to 6 years in prison.

Another Pakistani, Tahir Malik, was also jailed for three years and fined 10,000 riyals.
