Islamabad: Pakistan is gearing up for the commencement of its Hajj operation for 2024, set to kick off from May 9th and extend until June 9th. With meticulous planning underway, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced the completion of arrangements for this significant event.
Four major airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Saudi Airlines, Air Blue, and Serene Air, will be involved in facilitating the pilgrimage, ensuring a smooth journey for pilgrims from across the country.
Vaccination of pilgrims is scheduled to begin on April 30th at designated Hajj Camps. Approximately 69,500 pilgrims are expected to embark on this spiritual journey under the government’s scheme.

The Hajj 2024 flight operation will be conducted from eight airports nationwide, namely Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, and Faisalabad.
To ensure the health and safety of pilgrims, it is mandatory for all attendees to receive the required vaccinations ten days before their scheduled Hajj flights. Additionally, pilgrims will be provided with essential items such as a suitcase, hand-carry bag, shoe bag, Ihram belt, and a green scarf featuring the Pakistani flag.
In a modern twist, carrying a smartphone will be mandatory for all intending pilgrims.
