MAKKAH: Park Group has announced a partnership with EQ Holding to develop a high-rise serviced apartment tower in the holy city of Makkah, a project aimed at addressing the growing demand for accommodation from pilgrims and visitors.
The development, to be located in the Al Jummayzah district near Masjid Al-Haram, will comprise a ground-plus-18-storey tower with 126 studio serviced apartments. The project is being positioned as both a spiritually significant investment and a hospitality venture tailored to the needs of religious tourism.
Mr. Ehsan Abdul Samad Al Qurashi, Chairman of Abdul Samad Al Qurashi, described the collaboration as an extension of the group’s legacy in Saudi Arabia. “This project in Makkah reflects our deep respect for the city’s significance and our commitment to meeting the needs of its millions of visitors. Together with Park Group, we are confident of setting new benchmarks for quality and service in the hospitality sector,” he said.

The tower will feature modern interiors, service facilities, and layouts designed to provide convenience and comfort for pilgrims arriving for Hajj and Umrah.
Industry observers noted that the initiative reflects an increasing trend of cross-border partnerships in the Gulf’s real estate sector, with developers from Saudi Arabia and the UAE seeking to expand hospitality infrastructure in response to surging demand from religious tourism.
