PEMRA bans Broadcast of Imran Speeches

Islamabad: The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has banned the broadcasting of statements and speeches of Chairman PTI Imran Khan.

Details The ban was imposed under Section 27 of the PEMRA Ordinance. According to Pemra, Imran Khan is making baseless accusations against state institutions in his speeches and statements.

According to PEMRA, Imran Khan is spreading hatred through inflammatory statements, Imran Khan’s statements are a threat to peace, his recorded or live speeches and statements will be banned.
