Islamabad: The government has increased the prices of petroleum products.
According to the notification, the government has increased the price of petrol by Rs 5 per litre, after which the new price has become Rs 272 per litre, while the new price of high speed diesel has increased by Rs 13 per liter to Rs 293 per litre.
According to the notification, the government has increased the price of kerosene by Rs 2 56 paise per liter while the price of light diesel has been maintained.
A statement from the finance division said that the depreciation of the Pakistani rupee in the last 15 days has resulted in an increase in the prices of products in Pakistan. According to the declaration, the price of petrol is being increased by 5 rupees per liter and the price of high speed diesel by 13 rupees.
According to the notification, the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs 2.56 paise per liter while the price of light diesel has been maintained. The new prices have been implemented from 12 midnight on March 16.
