This initiative was kick-started with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Pakistan Press Club Malaysia (PPCM) and PFUJ UAE, aiming to enrich the journalistic landscape of both countries.

Ansir Akram, the General Secretary of PFUJ UAE, arrived in Malaysia upon the special invitation of the Pakistan Press Club Malaysia. His arrival was met with enthusiasm and a warm welcome from PPCM officials. The visit included a tour of Malaysia’s historical landmarks and an Iftar dinner hosted by PPCM in Akram’s honour, leading up to the pivotal moment of signing the MoU.

The establishment of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists Malaysia Chapter received applause and support from Rana Muhammad Azim, PFUJ’s Central General Secretary, during a telephonic conversation that also involved PPCM President Owais Taj Chaudhry among others. This initiative is supported wholeheartedly by the PFUJ central leadership, underscoring the anticipated benefits for the journalistic communities and beyond.

Key figures such as Khalid Malik, President of the PFUJ UAE Chapter, and Syed Mudassar Khushnood, the former general secretary, also joined the conversation via phone, extending their congratulations and assurances of full cooperation to the Pakistan Press Club Malaysia.

This gesture of goodwill highlights the collaborative spirit among the journalists of Pakistan, UAE, and Malaysia.

This new chapter in PFUJ’s history is not just a win for the journalists of the two countries but also a boon for investors from Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia. The agreement facilitates not only the sharing of journalistic experiences but also aims to guide investors interested in these regions, acting as a bridge between the journalistic community and the investment opportunities in these countries.
