PIA reduces fares for Umrah pilgrims

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has introduced reduced fares for Umrah pilgrims traveling from Pakistan to Madinah, effective immediately. This initiative aims to facilitate pilgrims intending to perform Umrah during this auspicious period.

According to the PIA spokesperson, travelers from Lahore and Islamabad can avail a two-way fare to Madinah for Rs 86,000 (plus tax), while those departing from Karachi can benefit from a fare of Rs 76,000 (plus tax). Previously, the Umrah ticket cost Rs 120,000, reflecting a significant reduction in travel expenses for pilgrims.

“The discounted fares are part of our commitment to support pilgrims and enhance their travel experience,” the spokesperson affirmed. The special rates will remain valid until July 15, providing pilgrims ample time to plan their journey.
