Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered the federal intelligence agencies to submit a report on the officers who did not follow the orders as per the law during the recent dharna (long march) and political activities.
According to the details, these orders have been given by the Prime Minister to the government officers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, based on the reports, the promotion of the officers will be reviewed.
Sources said that officers who do not perform their duties as per the law should be punished in the promotion board, the meeting of which has been called with extraordinary haste, the meeting of the board will be held in the first week of December and this meeting was called at such a time. is when the promotions in the ex-Board held in mid-August are yet to be decided.
According to the sources, the Prime Minister has ordered to review the developments in the previous board. Based on the report of the agencies, the relevant committee will examine the conduct of the officers in the ongoing political tension to see if they acted according to the law or not.
According to sources, the Inter-Services Intelligence and Intelligence Bureau have been directed to submit fresh reports, especially the officers of Pakistan Administrative Services and Police Service of Pakistan who were posted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
