PM Kakar assures security ahead of February 8 Elections

Islamabad: Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar emphasized the ongoing process for elections, with candidates filing nomination papers and political parties actively engaging in building voter narratives. He assured the public that the polls on February 8 would proceed as scheduled, in accordance with constitutional requirements, leading to the formation of a new elected government.

Security Measures for Political Leaders

In response to security concerns for prominent political figures, including Nawaz Sharif, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Maryam Nawaz, Imran Khan, and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Prime Minister affirmed the government’s commitment to providing security.
