PM Kakar Explores Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi

Abudhabi: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar embarked on a significant visit to the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, as announced by the PM Office.

The prime minister commenced his visit by offering Fateha at the mausoleum of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, honoring the visionary leadership of the founding father of the UAE.

Reflecting on the late Sheikh Zayed’s enduring legacy, Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar highlighted the profound impact of his leadership in fostering a culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among nations worldwide.

The late Sheikh Zayed’s close relationship with the people and leadership of Pakistan was also recalled during this solemn visit.

As part of the visit, the prime minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar received a comprehensive briefing about the mosque’s noble message, emphasizing key principles of coexistence, tolerance, and openness to diverse cultures.

The mosque, a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture, stands as a testament to the late founder’s commitment to these values.

The prime minister was also apprised of the mosque’s pivotal role in promoting the true essence of Islamic culture and fostering cross-cultural communication on a global scale.

Accompanying the Caretaker Prime Minister were Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmzi, signifying the importance of the visit.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, with its awe-inspiring architecture, has the capacity to accommodate over 40,000 visitors, making it a symbol of cultural richness and religious significance. Notably, it holds the distinction of being the largest mosque in the UAE and the third-largest in the world.

Prime Minister Kakar’s visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque underscores the shared values of peace, tolerance, and cultural understanding between Pakistan and the UAE, fostering diplomatic ties and mutual respect.
