PM strongly condemns firing on Imran Khan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the firing on Imran Khan in Allahwala Chowk, Gujranullah.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has asked for an immediate report of the incident, while he has directed the Interior Minister to ask for an immediate report from the IG Police and Chief Secretary Punjab.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s press conference has been postponed.

It should be noted that Chairman PTI Imran Khan was injured by firing while one person was killed in a long march at Old Kachhari Chowk in Wazirabad.

The unidentified person was under the container who opened fire, resulting in a stampede. 10 people were injured and one person was killed in the firing, identified as Moazzam Gondal, who belonged to Bharuki Cheema.

Imran Khan’s march was passing through a road when a person came out of the street and approached the container and opened fire. The PTI workers present at the spot caught the accused and severely tortured him. The police have arrested the attacker and seized the weapon.
