Lahore: Speaking about Baloch Protesters outside the National Press Club, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar highlighted the importance of lawful protest but criticized instances of violence, mentioning the use of water cannons in response to stone-pelting.
Kakar acknowledged the right to peaceful protest but suggested that those who believe in their cause should consider joining the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) or the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) camps or follow the rule of law.
Addressing the demand of Baloch Protesters to present missing individuals in courts, Kakar criticized the silence around casualties during the war on terror and emphasized the need for dialogue over stubbornness. He warned against comparing the situation to the 1971 secession of Bangladesh, stating that the armed forces are fighting against destabilization conspiracies.

Kakar discouraged individuals from championing human rights causes without understanding the context, urging awareness of the ongoing internal struggle in Pakistan. He emphasized that the state is not at war with the Baloch people but with terrorist organizations receiving funding from India’s RAW.
In conclusion, Kakar stressed that anti-state elements conspiring against Pakistan will not be allowed to succeed, asserting that a significant majority of Baloch people support Pakistan amidst ongoing challenges.
