PML-N mobilized to bring no-confidence motion against Elahi

Lahore: The Muslim League-N has called a meeting of the core committee of the party to bring a no-confidence motion against the Chief Minister of Punjab.

According to Leading News, the meeting of the core committee of the parliamentary party of the Muslim League-N Punjab will be held on Monday under the chairmanship of the leader of the opposition Hamza Shehbaz at the party secretariat in Model Town to consider various options regarding the overthrow of the Punjab government.

According to the sources, the meeting will discuss the situation after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan announced his resignation from the assemblies, while the meeting will discuss various options including bringing a no-confidence motion against the government.

Meanwhile, an important meeting was held between Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and former President Asif Ali Zardari regarding government formation in Punjab, in which political issues were discussed.
