Police summoned Maryam Aurangzeb & Javed Latif over terrorism case

Lahore Police summoned Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb and Federal Minister Javed Latif in the terrorism case.

According to the details, both ministers have been directed to appear in the investigation wing of Sabzazar police station, Lahore on October 18 at 2 pm. Apart from this, the police have also summoned Sohail Khan, the MD of the government TV, and Rashid Baig, the producer, on October 18 for investigation.

A case has been registered against Maryam Aurangzeb under the Terrorism Act by citizen Irshad Rahman, while a summons has been issued to the Federal Minister under Section 160 of the Criminal Code.

It should be noted that terrorism cases have been registered against Mian Javed Latif in Lahore and Peshawar for holding a press conference on religion against Imran Khan on September 14.
