Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow and offered support to Bangladesh in light of the devastating floods that have recently struck the country. In a letter addressed to Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Younus, Sharif conveyed Pakistan’s heartfelt solidarity and support during this challenging time.
The floods in Bangladesh have caused widespread devastation, displacing approximately 3.6 million people, damaging countless homes, infrastructure, and disrupting transportation networks. The scale of the disaster has complicated relief efforts in the already politically troubled country.

In his letter, Prime Minister Sharif extended his condolences to those who have lost loved ones, homes, and their means of livelihood. He praised the resilience and bravery of the Bangladeshi people, acknowledging their strength in the face of such adversity.
Sharif expressed confidence in Bangladesh’s leadership, affirming that they will navigate the nation through this difficult period. He also highlighted Pakistan’s readiness to provide any necessary assistance to aid in the recovery and relief efforts.
