Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed ruthless legal action against hoarders and profiteers.

In the high-level meeting, the prime minister gave a free hand to the district administration and law enforcement agencies in the federation and provinces and said that the strictest action should be taken against profiteers, hoarders, and those who charge excessive rates.

Shahbaz Sharif said that clean-up operations should be done in godowns, shops, and markets before Ramadan.

Apart from this, the Prime Minister gave the federal government and the Chief Minister the task of controlling the prices of goods in Ramadan and directed that whoever harasses the fasting people during the month of worship should be taught a lesson with the force of law.
