ABU DHABI: President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in the United Arab Emirates on a four-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Upon his arrival at the Presidential Flight Terminal of Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, the president was received by UAE Minister of Justice Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi. Pakistani Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan was also present.
President Zardari is accompanied by First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi. The visit will continue until January 29.
During his stay, the president will hold meetings with the UAE leadership to review the full spectrum of bilateral ties. Discussions are expected to focus on trade, economic cooperation, defence and security collaboration, as well as strengthening people-to-people contacts.
The visit reflects the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE and underscores the shared commitment of both countries to further deepen their partnership across multiple sectors.
