Islamabad: The Finance Minister has announced a reduction of Rs 10 per liter in the price of petrol for the next fortnight.
While giving a press conference in Islamabad, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the price of petrol per liter is being reduced by 10 rupees while the price of high speed diesel is being reduced by 7 and a half rupees. Similarly, the price of kerosene oil and light diesel oil is also being reduced by Rs.10.
He said that from 12 midnight on December 15 to December 31, petrol will be sold at Rs 214 80 paise, high speed diesel at Rs 227 80 paise, kerosene at Rs 171 83 paise and light diesel at Rs 169.
The finance minister said that the price of petrol has been reduced by 22 rupees 63 in three months.
He further said that the announcement of the prices of petroleum products has been made in the context of the decrease in the prices of oil in the world market.
