PTI denies alliance with any party

In a recent interview with a private TV channel, senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Ali Muhammad Khan, made a strong statement regarding the party’s approach to the upcoming election. He categorically denied any alliances with political parties, emphasizing that PTI is focused on carving out its own political space.

Ali Muhammad Khan underlined PTI’s commitment to ensuring free and fair elections by engaging with various political parties. He hinted at a potential meeting with Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), but clarified that this meeting would be purely political in nature and not the formation of an alliance.

Moreover, Ali Muhammad Khan revealed the PTI’s intentions to meet with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the future to discuss election-related matters. PTI’s primary goal, he asserted, is to advocate for transparent elections where all political parties have an equal opportunity.

He emphasized, “We are not talking about any alliance, any relief, or any deal.” Furthermore, Ali Khan stated that there have been no instructions from the PTI party chairman to form an alliance with any party, and the core committee has not discussed the possibility of forming alliances.

With this announcement, PTI reaffirms its commitment to a democratic and transparent electoral process as the country prepares for the upcoming election.
