PTI express strong reservations on expansion of Punjab Cabinet

Lahore: The senior leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has expressed serious concerns over the expansion of the Punjab Cabinet.

A meeting of the party leadership was held under the chairmanship of Imran Khan, in which when the matter regarding the expansion of the Punjab cabinet was discussed, Imran Khan came out unaware of Khyal Castro becoming a minister.

Addressing the newly elected minister, Imran Khan said, “I thought you were being given the headship of a department, your swearing-in has damaged our narrative, but let’s not talk about it now.”

In the PTI meeting, the senior leader opposed the expansion of the Punjab Cabinet and expressed serious reservations about it.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Fawad Chaudhry confirmed that the leadership has expressed displeasure at the swearing-in of the new minister in the meeting. He said that we are moving towards the dissolution of the assembly.
