Punjab govt sent Qureshi to jail for one month

Rawalpindi: Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been sent to jail for one month under MPO.

According to the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been arrested and sent to jail under the orders of 30 days detention under clause 1 of 3 MPO.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi was transferred to District Jail Attock on the orders of IG Prisons Punjab Mubasher Malik.

Superintendent District Jail Attock issued a letter to the Ministry of Interior, IG Jail Punjab, DIG Jail Rawalpindi Region, DC Lahore and Attock and DPO Attock.

It has been said in the post that Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who was voluntarily arrested a day ago in Lahore, was transferred from Lahore to Attock Jail, this action was taken on the orders of IG Prisons Punjab.
