Ready to go to jail, Imran Khan

Islamabad: Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has said that he is ready to go to jail.

Before appearing in the court on the occasion of the hearing on the application for protective bail in the case filed by FIA under the Foreign Exchange Act in the prohibited funding case, the journalist asked Imran Khan what would happen if the bail was not granted. To which Imran Khan replied that I have prepared, I am ready to go to jail.

The journalist asked whether you knew that while you were the prime minister, phones are tapped. To which Imran Khan replied that surveillance does happen, it is a national security issue. He said that Ansar Abbasi had said 3 months ago that the audio of me and Azam Khan is there. The work of the agencies is the protection of the Prime Minister.

During an informal conversation in the courtroom, the journalist asked whether you object to the audio recording or to the release. To which Imran Khan replied that there is surveillance of the Prime Minister all over the world, but there is no targeted recording. Justice will not prevail until the powerful are brought under the law.

The journalist asked that the situation in Swat is bad, the Chief Minister is not going to the province, to which Imran Khan said that it is a federal matter. The situation in Swat is alarming. Since when the Pakhtunkhwa government was telling the federation. Earlier, the journalist asked that do you think the government will succeed in arresting you, to which Imran Khan said that maybe.

Answering a question that the PML-N is saying that they will kill you, Imran Khan said that my stamina is more than the Sharifs.
Answering the question about foreign funding, Imran Khan said that only one political party has legal funding and that is Tehreek-e-Insaf. The funding of other political parties is two numbers. It is a pity that the Chief Election Commissioner is not bringing forward the funding of other political parties. The High Court has ordered that all fundraising cases should be heard together. The Chief Election Commissioner is a man of his house and biased. If the Election Commissioner brings forward the funding of other political parties, it will be known whose funding is legal.

The journalist asked who are the powerful people? On which Imran Khan said that these are the NRO people. Look at Aitzaz Ahsan’s statement. It is not the job of the agencies to tap the phone and release it. Arif Alvi has explained his statement.
