Islamabad: Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik, along with his son Dr. Shaikh Fariq Naik, arrived in Pakistan on Monday morning at the special invitation of the government.
The duo was warmly welcomed at Islamabad International Airport by Rana Mashhood, head of the Prime Minister Youth Program, alongside members of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The general public also greeted Dr. Naik at the airport, where security was heightened to ensure his safe transit to his destination in Islamabad.
Dr. Zakir Naik’s tour across Pakistan will begin in Karachi, with his first event scheduled at Bagh-e-Quaid on October 5 and 6. On October 5, Dr. Naik will deliver a lecture titled “Hamari Zindagi Ka Maqsad Kya Hai?” at 7 PM, followed by a talk by his son, Shaikh Fariq, on “Kya Quran Ko Samajh Kar Parhna Zaroori Hai.”
The following day, October 6, Shaikh Fariq will discuss “Misconceptions About Islam,” and Dr. Naik will hold a comprehensive Question/Answer session.

The scholar’s tour will continue in Lahore on October 12 and 13 at Minar-e-Pakistan. Dr. Zakir Naik will present “Al Qur’an – Aalami Zaroorat” on October 12, while Shaikh Fariq will discuss “Dawah Ya Halakat.” On October 13, Shaikh Fariq will speak on “Religion in the Right Perspective,” followed by another Q&A session with Dr. Zakir Naik.
The final stop of the tour will be in Islamabad at Jinnah Stadium in Sports Complex on Saturday, October 19. Dr. Naik will lecture on “Muslim Professional Ki Zimmedari,” and Shaikh Fariq will speak on “Islaam Insaaniyat Ke Liye Rehmat Na Ke Zehmat.”
Dr. Naik is also expected to meet with prominent national figures during his stay, and his lectures are anticipated to draw large crowds, eager to engage with his teachings.
The events are free and open to the public, with scholars and attendees from all walks of life expected to attend.
