Rolls-Royce Middle East & Africa Celebrates Strong Growth In 2022

Dubai: “2022 was an outstanding year for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in the Middle East. We have seen strong year-on-growth in overall sales, and our region remains among the marque’s most important market for Bespoke commissions worldwide. The year also saw the launch of Private Office in Dubai, the first of its kind outside the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, bringing the brand closer to our customers and underlining the importance of the Middle East to the company’s overall strategy. Advance orders for all models extend far into 2023; we are especially encouraged by the overwhelming response from customers and the media to Spectre, our first all-electric Super Coupe. We look forward with quiet confidence to another positive year in 2023.”

César Habib, Regional Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Middle East & Africa

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Middle East & Africa (MEA) has recorded outstanding sales results in 2022. Total sales across the region grew by 38% year-on-year, driven principally by Ghost and Cullinan, with demand surging further following the launch of Black Badge Ghost, Phantom Series II and Spectre during the year.

2022 HIGHLIGHTS

The year saw the inauguration of the new Private Office in Dubai, UAE, the first of its kind outside the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood. The Private Office Dubai facilitates even closer contact and relationships with Middle East clients, and brings the full brand experience and capabilities directly to them.

Bespoke commissions remained at record levels in 2022. The highlight of the year was Phantom ‘The Six Elements’, co-created in a unique collaboration with world-renowned artist Sacha Jafri. A series of six one-of-one Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II Extended motor cars, each features a unique, hand-painted Sacha Jafri Gallery inspired by the traditional elements – Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Air – alongside a sixth, Humanity. The project also raised more than $1 million for charities operating in the fields of health, sustainability, and education.

The new Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha showroom represents another major milestone for the brand’s evolution to become a true House of Luxury. The first showroom in the Middle East & Africa region to be remodelled in the new Rolls-Royce visual identity, it is designed to appeal to a younger, self-made and highly individual clientele, and create a wholly immersive client experience.

Reflecting on the results, Regional Director César Habib said, “In 2022, we inspired the world with our collaborations and Bespoke capabilities, and took a hugely significant step into our all-electric future. All these achievements have been made possible by the dedication and commitment of our own Rolls-Royce team, and our dealer partners across the region. It is truly a privilege and an honour to work alongside them every day.”
