Islamabad: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said not to listen to rumors about Pakistan defaulting.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said in a media briefing in Islamabad that baseless rumors are being spread regarding the economy of the country, which may have political motives behind it. Won’t be able to, negative talk about the economy affects contracts.
Ishaq Dar assured that I am clarifying that Pakistan has issued sukuk bonds of one billion dollars, the bonds will be paid on time, Pakistan has never defaulted, we will make the payments, in this regard, anyone. Don’t worry too, stop spreading rumours, Pakistan belongs to everyone.
The finance minister said that avoid irresponsible talk regarding the economy, irresponsible statements harm the country, first we are Pakistanis and then there is a relationship with a party.
He said that Pakistan currently has a stock of petroleum products, the country has sufficient reserves of petroleum products, there is no shortage of petrol and diesel in the country, all are rumours.
The finance minister added that do not listen to rumors about Pakistan defaulting, it is being said that the current account deficit is out of control, but it is not.
