SC acquitted Shahrukh & others in Shahzeb murder case

Islamabad: The Supreme Court has acquitted all the accused including the accused Shahrukh Jatoi in the Shahzeb murder case.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan, heard the case.

Latif Khosa, the lawyer of the accused, said that the parties had already reached an agreement, the accused had no intention of spreading terror, and the incident of a murder was given the color of terrorism.

The trial court sentenced Shahrukh Jatoi and Nawab Siraj Talpur to death while Nawab Sajjad Ghulam Murtaza was sentenced to life imprisonment.
