security concerns; Imran Khan’s decision not to go to Islamabad

Lahore: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan will not appear in Islamabad courts today (Thursday) due to security reasons.

According to sources, former Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided not to go to Islamabad today after consulting his legal team and senior leadership.

Sources says that Imran Khan was briefed on the security situation by his team after which the senior leadership gave an opinion that there are security threats and he should not go to Islamabad. Imran Khan will not appear in Islamabad courts today (Thursday) due to security reasons.

Three cases against Imran Khan will be heard in three courts of Islamabad today, including two bail cases in the context of Tosha Khana protest and one case of threatening speech against Judge Zeba Chaudhry. The courts have made Imran Khan’s attendance mandatory in all three cases.
